White rum

A Caribbean spirit, produced via vertical distillation of alcohol from fermentation of molasses or sugar cane juice. Before blending, it is kept in burnt oak barrels from bourbon or sherry for 2 to 7 years, depending on the method of aging, and filtered to remove the dark color.
